Most commercial alarm activations are not break-ins.

They are an insect on a sensor, a possum on a roof, a delivery driver in the wrong place, a sensor knocked out of alignment. The problem is that a traditional monitored alarm cannot tell the difference - every activation looks identical from the monitoring centre.

Video verification fixes that. When an alarm activates, the monitoring operator is shown vision from the cameras covering that zone - so they can see whether there is a person on site or nothing at all, and respond accordingly.

How video verification works.

Video verification ties your alarm zones to your CCTV so an activation produces vision, not just a signal.

Step 1

Event-linked vision

Each alarm zone is mapped to the cameras covering it. An activation automatically presents the operator with footage from the seconds around the event.

Step 2

Live and recorded review

Operators can view both the recorded clip from the moment of activation and a live feed of the area, to confirm whether a threat is present and ongoing.

Step 3

Graded escalation

A confirmed activation - a person visible where they should not be - is escalated immediately as a priority. An obviously false trigger is cleared without burning a response.

Step 4

Better information to responders

When a patrol or police-listed response is dispatched, it can be told what was actually seen - how many people, where on site, what they were doing - rather than responding blind.
