Alarm coverage is designed zone by zone from a site assessment. A commercial system typically includes the following elements.

Commercial alarm systems should be designed and installed to the relevant parts of the AS 2201 standards series, which cover intruder alarm system design, installation and monitoring.

The fastest way to make a monitored alarm useless is to flood it with false activations. After enough nuisance alarms, every activation is treated as another false one - and the response slows or stops. We design detection to the real movement patterns of the site, position and select sensors to avoid common false-alarm triggers, and pair the system with video verification so a monitoring operator can confirm a genuine event before escalating.
